Introduction
Anna Prendergast is the deputy editor at creative agency Salt Lick. She's also a ​journalist covering travel, sustainability and social issues for titles such as Condé Nast Traveller, How To Spend It, The Telegraph, The Observer and Broadsheet London. When she's not crafting stories, she can be found scuba-diving, beach-combing, view-finding or tinkering with her campervan, Basil.  

Experience

Anna started out in fashion, working for designers such as Emilia Wickstead and Matthew Williamson. Having lived in Barcelona, Melbourne and Greece, she found her passion for publishing at Condé Nast Traveller, where she specialised in travel journalism.

Now based in London, Anna has over a decade of experience in storytelling for brands and publications. She has interviewed monks in Bhutan, bellyboarders in Cornwall and hoteliers in Costa Rica; she has navigated Nicaragua’s islands and reported from a convent in Melbourne. 

Anna has contributed to The Telegraph, The Observer, How To Spend It, Time Out, The Nudge, The Independent, Broadsheet London, Stylist, Glamour, Gloobles, Roadbook, Secret Trips, Luxury London and Country Life.

Awards

Anna was nominated AITO Young Travel Writer of the Year in 2023 for a report on how the van life movement is evolving to become more inclusive. Read it on Roadbook.
