Julie Schwietert Collazo

Julie Schwietert Collazo is a bilingual journalist, editor, and fact-checker who lives in Mexico City. She is also a travel advisor and former tour guide for EF Smithsonian. 

Experience

Julie has been an independent freelance writer, editor, and fact-checker for 20 years, working for both traditional and digital media, as well as corporate and NGO clients. She is the contributing author to the guidebooks DK Mexico, DK Top 10 Mexico City, and DK Top 10 Cancún and the Yucatán, and is the author of Moon New York State and Moon Hudson Valley and the Catskills.
