Maria Olia

Introduction

Maira Olia is a travel writer, essayist and public speaker. She went to Boston to attend university more than 45 years ago and decided to stay.  She has written nine travel guidebooks and specializes in Boston and New England travel.

Experience

Maria began her career writing parenting essays for magazines and newspapers including Working Mother Magazine and the Boston Globe. As a freelancer, she has written hundreds of magazine, newspaper, and on-line articles specializing in travel and parenting.
