Introduction

Fiona Rose founded and runs a home interiors business, Arts & Crafts Living, born out of her admiration for the Arts & Crafts Movement and love of the home. She has been lecturing about topics she feels passionately about since 2010 including William Morris, his artisan daughter May Morris, Frida Kahlo, and Frank Lloyd Wright. Fiona always aims to include the human stories behind the artistic endeavours of her subjects.

Book reviewer for the Journal of William Morris Studies and regular contributor to The William Morris Society Magazine.

Education

Fiona has a BA in Social Psychology from the University of Sussex. She is an accredited lecturer for The Arts Society.

Fiona is an active member of The William Morris Society, the Arts & Crafts Movement in Surrey association, the CFA Voysey Society, and the Friends of Red House.

Volunteering

As a heritage volunteer with The William Morris Society, Fiona serves on the Museum & Collections Committee, offering marketing and public relations support. She has also helped staff plan, organise, and promote several significant exhibitions.

Volunteer house guide and specialist lecturer for the David Parr House; an ordinary Cambridge terraced house with an extraordinary, hand-painted Victorian interior.

Every room in Fiona's home is decorated with at least two patterns by William Morris.
