Julia Pearey is a freelance writer, editor and copywriter based in Wiltshire, UK.

Experience

More than 30 years in the publishing/editorial world. She started her career at a London agency working on Orient-Express Magazine, then went on to edit a variety of titles, including Island Visitor for people travelling to the Isle of Wight and Livewire, which was placed on the UK's London to Scotland train service.

Since going freelance 18 years ago she has contributed to numerous publications and websites, working mainly in the sphere of travel, art and lifestyle. Most recent clients include Belmond, Abercrombie & Kent, Crystal Cruises and the Art Fund. Her more unusual projects have ranged from managing a peer-reviewed journal for dermatology nurses to copywriting a website for a dental studio on Australia's Gold Coast.

Education

BA Hons in French and German at the University of East Anglia.

Interests

Huge supporter of anything animal/wildlife related, in particular (at the moment) helping dogs who have been badly affected by war.
